By The Book

The New York Times Book Review now has a column called "By The Book" where different writers/creative folk/interesting people share what is currently on their reading list and answer all sorts of questions regarding their reading habits and tastes. Right now the spotlight is on Lena Dunham who is the genius behind the HBO series "Girls"  (which I am seriously obsessed with and highly recommend).

"What was the last truly great book you read? Do you remember the last time you said to someone, “You absolutely must read this book”?
I am obsessed with “The Private Diaries of Catherine Deneuve,” in which we learn intimate details about working with titans of the French New Wave and she talks smack about Bjork. Her prose is elegant and defiant and very, very French."
