Sensitivity Plants

We went to Home Depot last night for plants (more to follow...) and at the cash register there was these plants labeled the "Tickle Me Plant" with a sign that said they react to touch. so OF COURSE you have to touch them and it's the weirdest thing - all the leaves immediately close up and the plant droops and turns in on itself. The labels all had smiling plant faces on them but the plants looked SO SAD when you touched them like they hated the feel of your skin. I know they are plants but i wanted to buy them all and release them into the woods or something, free from grubby hands.
