When i lived in San Francisco and craigslist was a big trend it was always funny to read the Missed Connections...my friend Mary read them so often to see if she was in them that it was always a plan of mine to post one from a guy who had seen her on the bus on the way home from work and noticed her clothes and pretty hair (she liked when people noticed those things) but then it felt kind of mean. or something, i just never did. Artist Sophie Blackall reads craigslist too and then does beautiful drawings of the postings...check them out here.
