Everything You Own Documented

Lord i don't know if i would be brave enough to do this...we 86'd most of our belongings to move into our tiny studio but somehow our stuff still gets the best of us and starts creeping out of closets or piling up in the kitchen. Once every couple of weeks we clean and shine and stuff with our feet everything back in it's rightful place but man...makes you think about how important any of this crap really is to you...(artwork = important, computer = yes please, clothes = eh, shoes = depends on which pairs we are talking about...and on and on). Artist Simon Evans has made a detailed picture of everything he owns, i can't tell if its photos or little sweet drawings. I think it's a very interesting idea and makes for a great piece of artwork and discussion starter offer. Even though it seems like we have such little stuff i feel like i could paper the walls photos or doodles of our STUFF and still have lots left over...these are the kinds of things that make me feel off about wedding registries - why does someone need so much of this stuff and how is okay that we ask other people to buy it for us? but then, that's a whole different conversation for later...
